Is a beach located in the Natural Park of Sintra-Cascais, having a large expanse of sand surrounded by cliffs.

Of great natural beauty, is characterized by strong swell and high winds, which leads to the formation of the Dune System “Winch-Crismina” located throughout its surroundings.

This beach can be seen from the mouth of the Ribeira Crismina.

During the bathing season  has a  supporting bar called “Bar das Ilhas” and is a guarded  flagged beach
