The Moorish Castle in Sintra  has a new stage lighting walls that allows viewing of the monument from various points of the Village and the Serra de Sintra. In the final phase of testing, the new light project aims to create scenarios with color variation.

The Moorish Castle is one of the most visited monuments and one of the main attractions of the Cultural Landscape of Sintra, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995, receiving about 269,000 visits over the year 2012.
