To mark the summer solstice, Parques de Sintra will open the Park and Palace of Pena at night,on June 21st. Visitors  can move freely (in the palace) or integrated in one of the guided tours nightly (or Palace Park) as well as choose to participate in the dinner to be held in the restaurant of the Palace. This is a rare occasion that visitors can enjoy in the evening, these important icons of romanticism in the Serra de Sintra.  Between 20h and 24h, visitors can move freely in the Pena Palace and at 21h may join one of the guided tours or the Pena Park (with trip to the High Cross, the highest point of Serra) or the Palace of Pena. Additionally, they can still book a table for dinner in the Restaurant Sala dos Cocheiros.
