The Molhe´s Beach ( Praia do Molhe)

Blue flag and a length of 168 meters, the Praia do Molhe owes its name to the coastal structure, similar to a pontoon, which goes to the sea and borders the bathing area.

From the early twentieth century became the most  important Oporto´s coastal resort. With a landscape  embellished by Pergola da Foz, one of the most iconic picture postcards of the Oporto’s city. This cement balustrade was built around 1930 and works as a privileged viewpoint over the sea. The  entire surrounding of this beach holds the attention of tourists, either by the sumptuous staircase or   by the well cared terraces´s bars.
