Francesinha (Frenchie) is a typical dish from the city of Oporto.
It consists of sausage, fresh sausage, ham, cold meat and steak beef or, alternatively, roast pork loin and sliced​​, covered with cheese (melted later). It is usually garnished with a tomato-based sauce, beer and piri-piri. Accompaniments fried eggs (on top of the sandwich) and fries are optional.
