By creating the Quinta do Pisão – Nature Park, the municipality intended to safeguard this natural, cultural and historical heritage, boosting the humanized landscape and the countryside.

The entire area is open for visitation, promoting nature tourism and stimulating playful activities through a network of rails ecological interpretation, footpaths, cycle paths and equestrian.

Each year, takes place the exhibition LandArt Cascais, where works of art are displayed which, by their nature, could not be confined in a gallery.

Periodically courses are also organized , guided by a Technical Environment Cascais, providing information about the natural, cultural, historical and architectural.
