As the name indicates this is a very popular beach for tourists, especially English.

It is located in Foz, where the Douro River meets the Atlantic Ocean and very close to the urban area which provides better access.

There is a  restaurant with pleasant terrace and brightly beach colored stalls.

During the summer season is a guarded beach with sign post and also has a medical / first aid.
