There are four major areas you must consider when going out at night:

1 – Av. 24 de Julho in Alcântara, mainly bars and discos.

2 – Bairro Alto plenty of restaurants, bars and discos.

3 – Docas Doca de Alcântara, plenty of restaurants, bars and discos.

4 – Parque das Nações, restaurants and bars.

You can go to Lux, a disco bar that  belongs  to John Malkovic.

In Estoril during summer you can go toTamariz at Estoril Beach and in the winter Jezebel. But there are many bars and other clubs such as Bauhaus, in Monte Estoril and 2001 at the Estoril Autódromo.
